In late 2002, the associations representing local government in Wisconsin – the League of WI Municipalities, WI Counties Association, Wisconsin Towns Assocation and the WI Alliance of Cities came together to form the Local Government Institute of Wisconsin (LGI).  The vision for LGI is to find solutions for the efficient delivery and funding of local government services consistent with the needs of our citizens.
